Mad Max re-enactment gone wrong

A convoy of costumed fans on their way to a Mad Max marathon were arrested for re-enacting the tanker chase scene from Road Warrior. It seems passing motorists genuinely believed the tanker was under siege by a violent militia and called the police. I'm trying to decide if this is more or less ridiculous than people believing Martians were invading the US thanks to the War of the Worlds radio broadcast.

C is for cookie sometimes, in moderation

Now this is just going too far. Cookie Monster is joining the fight against childhood obesity by declaring cookies a "sometimes food". Does anyone seriously think children are walking away from Sesame Street thinking that it's OK to live on cookies alone?

Good news for impotent Jews - a leading Israeli rabbi has ruled that Viagra can be taken during Passover, as long as it is encased in a special soluble kosher capsule first.

No more fees that will be referred to as "late fees"

Blockbuster has settled a lawsuit with confused customers who actually thought their "No Late Fees" campaign meant that there were no late fees anymore. In case you haven't heard, the fine print of this campaign is that after seven days, they charge you the purchase price of the movie, which can be reduced to a "restocking fee" if you return it within 30 days. It's not a "late fee," it's just a fee that will be applied if you choose to return your movies late. How is that unclear?
